![]() Kudos to everyone at the Arduino team and all the beta testers for the works and effort. Time certainly flies along, it feels like yesterday when we switched from the old Arduino IDE to version 1.0. The front-end is written in TypeScript, while most of the backend is written in Golang.Ĭlick here to download the new IDE for your system now. The new IDE is based on the Eclipse Theia framework, which is an open source project based on the same architecture as VS Code (language server protocol, extensions, debugger). Our users have always been accustomed to receiving notifications when new boards’ support or libraries updates were available, and IDE 2.0 is no exception.Īs a plus, the IDE can now itself be updated when a new version is available, so no need to head to the downloads page anymore: click the button and get the latest and greatest. It can be used for testing and calibrating sensors, comparing values and other similar scenarios. The Serial Plotter is a really useful visual tool that will help you to understand and compare your data points better. The IDE 2.0 features a richer Serial Plotter that is a versatile tool for tracking different data and variables which are received from your Arduino board. Work offline and sync later, simply bring your sketch down from the Cloud, edit offline and when you are back online click on “Push” and all your changes will be uploaded, meaning all your sketches will always be up-to-date and ready to use. There’s no need to worry about losing your sketches either, with Remote Sketchbook you only need one click and they will be pushed securely to the Arduino Cloud. If you don’t have Arduino IDE 2.0 installed on all your machines, just open the Arduino Web Editor and you can code from your browser in the online IDE with access to all your sketches and libraries. Įasily switch from one computer to another and keep working. Never lose a sketch keeping them safely at Arduino Cloudįor people who work on multiple computers or want to store their Sketches securely in the Cloud, the Remote Sketchbook integration is a really useful feature.įor now, all the sketches you have in Arduino Cloud and Arduino Web Editor can be edited in IDE 2.0. Some of you may have used this during the Beta, but our design team has reworked the entire Dark Theme to make it more consistent, beautiful and easy on the eye. ![]() If your eyes are feeling the strain you can quickly change settings and switch to Dark Mode. When right-clicking on a variable or a function, a contextual menu will provide navigation shortcuts to jump to the line (and file) where they are declared: Dark Mode While typing, the editor can suggest the autocompletion of variables and functions according to your code and the libraries you included: If you haven’t already given the new IDE 2.0 a try, here are just a few of the key features… Autocomplete during sketch editing The enormous amount of user feedback allowed us to identify the weakest spots such as code assist and completion, serial output, loading and compilation time.Ī special mention goes out to Paul Stoffregen who has provided enormous feedback to the IDE development team and been actively developing the initial support for advanced third-party platforms such as Teensy for IDE 2.0 (currently experimental). An Arduino-optimized code-completion and code-assist within the language server, help you write code quickly and spot errors as you type. Before you had to choose between text and graphs, whereas now you can have both.Īs well as the refreshed User Interface that provides a more intuitive experience whilst using Arduino IDE 2.0, speed is of the essence. The Serial Monitor and Plotter can be used together, enabling users to have two viewports onto their data output. Over and above the core features (we’ll get into those in more details later) the IDE 2.0 benefits from a number of enhancements and additional support. It carries a modern editor and provides a better overall user experience thanks to a responsive interface and faster compilation time. Since the launch of the Beta version back in Spring 2021, the feedback received from the active Arduino community has enabled us to focus on what’s meaningful to the widest user-base. We’re pleased to announce that as of today Arduino IDE 2.0 has moved to stable and is available for download. Not only is it a more usable and practical development environment, there’s also some new features such as seamless cloud integration (which you are not forced to used) which makes moving between machines easy. After a long period of development, we’re really happy to pass on the announcement that version 2.0.0 of the Arduino IDE is now available. Perspective puts that roof on, letting you see how the house is shaping up from the outside. Doll House for instance removes the roof and allows you see inside each room and corridor. You have access to various 2D and 3D views, including this interesting ‘glass house’ effect (Image credit: Chief Architect)īut you can also see everything from a 3D perspective, and you’re not limited to just one view. The interface is clever enough to notice when you add another wall, and if you click close enough to an existing one, it will assume the new wall starts from there, and won’t leave you with frustrating little gaps that would be a pain to fix later on. As you drag them you’ll immediately start seeing how long it will be (you get to choose your preferred measuring system: antiquated feet and inches, or the more modern and precise metric system). Perhaps the most obvious start is adding walls. It might look a little intimidating at first, but you get the gist of it very quickly. ![]() The largest part of the interface is dedicated to your design, with all the tools you need crammed in a sidebar to the left, rows of icons at the top, and a library on the right. For the sake of this review, we’ve taken a look at the Suite package on a Mac. If you’re not sure which one to choose, Chief Architect offers you a trial version which you can check out and decide which features suit you best. There are also upgrade prices for those who already own a previous version. Further, if you’ve paid for 12 consecutive months, you can own the software outright (sort of a rent to buy option). Finally, Pro costs a hefty $595 (or $495 with the current price reduction), and you also have the option of renting that software for $59 a month. ![]() Architectural would set you back $249 (or $199 if the current offer is still valid by the time you read this). You can get it for $129, although it is currently on offer at $99. Don’t be put off though: Suite is still incredibly capable, and most likely would suit most people’s needs.

![]() Here are some basic steps to follow to start expanding your base. Jellyfish are normally found in the bottom of the explorable sea.Įlectric Fish: Electric fish are found at the bottom layer, be careful they can shock you and cause a great amount of damage.Įxpanding your base is always fun, its like getting a bigger house. Jelly fish only have about 1-2 health and can be killed with a knife in one hit. Jellyfish: Jellyfish are found in large groups. Kraken are found around the explorable bottom of the sea. The Kraken are harder to fight than any other creature. Another way of it being angered is by a you mining a nearby. Kraken: A horrible creature that if attacked will anger other neaby Kraken. An Angler Fish does more damage and has more health than sharks and hammerheads.įrilled Sharks: Found at the same level as Angler Fish. All of them only attack at night (unless threatened), except for the aggressive Hammerhead Shark.Īngler Fish: Found one level deeper than the top sea level. They're the most common enemy found on the very top sea level. Like most enemies they are attracted to blood, so don't go killing fish. Sharks: We all probably met these enemies, there are two kinds: hammerhead, frilled, and great white. Going out at night is dangerous without a weapon to defend yourself. At night creatures such as sharks will immediately start attacking you the second they spot you. Once one of them starts attacking you, you are done for. Manganese Stunning Harpoon: Same as the other stunning harpoon but requires manganese to build *deals 15 damage*Įnemies are the biggest obstacle in the game, making you have to wait until day or kill the enemies. ![]() Manganese Harpoon: Final and best tier of harpoon, 3 manganese to build. *deals 5 damage*Ĭopper Harpoon: Same as iron but requires 3 copper to build instead of 3 iron *deals 8 damage*Ĭopper Stunning Harpoon: Same as iron stunning harpoon but requires 3 copper instead of 3 iron. The only thing different about the stunning harpoons (aside from more damage) from the normal harpoons is that it has a critical hit change of 30%, dealing significant higher damage then its base damage. Iron Stunning Harpoon: a more advanced harpoon, requires 1 energy sphere and 3 iron to build. Iron Harpoon: a simple harpoon requires 3 iron to build. Equip the harpoon using the option and it should be loaded. To equip harpoons scroll over them in your inventory, and click on them. Speargun: Used to fire harpoons, which are not cheap to craft. ![]() Does 2 damage each, perfect for hunting fish. Knife: The knife requires 8 iron to craft. All items below can be crafted at the Weapons Workshop. There are only two actual weapons types in the game, the knife, and the speargun. Weapons are essential for fighting enemies and for hunting. Drills mine faster than extractors, yet a tad slower than overpowered extractors. I mean do you really want to be staring at iron ore holding down mouse1 button all day?ĭrill: A basic drill which you can find in your base (adventure mode or survivor mode only) when you first start the game. Sand: A common resource found everywhere on the top floor of the ocean used to smelt into glass and craft glass into glass walls for your base.ĭirt: A common resource found everywhere used for plant pots (AKA farming)Įxtractor: A item which automatically mines for you, very slow but worth it. Used for overpowered extractor and overpowered drill (which is overpowered as the name suggests)Ĭoal: An uncommon resource found anywhere in the ocean (rarely found on bottom layers). Silver: The rarest resource in the game can only be found in deep sea areas requiring a copper or manganese helmet. Or if you go back to your base straight away, your base that you worked hard on will soon be attacked by the kraken and will be flooded with soggy potatoes. Once you mine it the Kraken will attack you. Requires a copper helmet to reach.Ĭrystals: A risky resource to get. Manganese: A resource found in the deepest part of the survivable ocean, used for overpowered items such as overpowered drills, used for armor and gear, and other useful things such as harpoon cannons. This ore appears on a slightly lower level than iron and requires an iron helmet to be reached. Used for a few useful things such as better equipment.Ĭopper: A resource used for furniture, bases, even better equipment, and weapons. Gold: A rare resource that appears on the map. Iron: The most basic resource to gather used for bases, equipment, and weapons. As it is a survival game you will need resources to progress through the game. You can also get Golden Bricks by doing missions for the NPC’s that are around the level. You can get Golden Bricks by searching them out and finding them. ![]() Unlike Tinker, this hero got hurt by the removal of the small camp, but his opponents got hurt more. Patch 7.32 gave Tinker an immediate jump to positive winrate. Unlike many other popular heroes of the patch, he doesn't rely on this camp that much, stacking ancients and farming the lane instead. If his ultimate will be cancelled, it will have increased cooldown of 8/7/6 seconds.Īnother change that made Tinker better is the removal of small camps next to mid lane. His Laser manacost got decreased (from 105/120/135/150 to 95/110/125/140), same with Rearm (from 150/225/300 to 130/185/240).īut Valve also wants to reward Tinker opponents for playing well and catching him on the Rearm. And it seems that now he is closer than ever to coming back. This hero is changed in almost every patch, but he wasn't relevant on the pro-scene in the long time. Source: DOTABUFF Best mid heroes in patch 7.32 in Dota 2 It's unclear if this change will be enough to get him back to proscene, but in matchmaking this hero can be a big issues in skillful hands, as showed by stats - 4.29% winrate increase. On the lvl4 of the ability he also shoots his arrows faster, 2 seconds instead of 2,4. Because of the increased amount of arrows on Burning Barrage (from 3/4/5/6 to 6), now he has more damage on the lane, and he farms jungle stacks faster. Another hero that got a major boost from the changes. The +4.5% winrate increase is a good proof how these changes made her one of the most solid carries of the patch. She might even skip Battle Fury, go directly for Desolator, and run around with her team killing everyone. These changes made her a very active hero in the early-mid game. That makes her very hard to kill by autoattacks in the mid game, since no heroes will have MKB that early. The second one, the talent on +25% to evasion from Blur is now can be picked on lvl15 instead of lvl20. Now she is much better at farming the jungle and can trade better on the lane. Before players could only get that as a talent on lvl15, and most people chose the different one. First, now the effect of Phantom Strike also gives her +10/15/20/25% to lifesteal. The developers brought back PA in meta with just two changes. Let's figure out together which heroes won the most from changes based on their winrate changes in matchmaking. It changed most heroes, added new neutral items, and allowed team to pick Primal Beast in the Captain's Mode. ![]() ![]() On the night of August 23-24 Valve Corporation released the long-awaited update 7.32. ![]() Here’s my findings:įor a while my app was freezing and then I couldn’t upload photos to it at all. If my new findings prove solid I will change it again to four stars, because I do love this app and hope it is as strong as it once was, but I wanna make sure it’s running smoothly. I’m changing my rating after discovering something and remembering something else since writing my former review. Overall though, this photo editing app is AMAZING and I highly recommend using it!!! I guarantee it will make many people happy. Anyways I really do hope someone who can add these two features read my review, and will actually consider adding these two features. I realize there’s an erasing tool, but when you have much to edit and a list of other photos you plan to edit as well, it is time consuming not to mention that many people using there fingers to edit will likely cause a mistake to worsen by using the eraser tool, which is well - another negative. Another new feature you should add to this app should be to have a onscreen convenient undo/redo buttons while using any tool in the app that way the editor won’t have to continuously click in and out of the tool in order to make an alter to an edit or to fix a mistake. Along with that adding the ability to not just have one focal point, but multiple focal pints, while still being able to blur out the background or things the editor doesn’t want the photo to focus on. First, I think adding a free form focus area in the Lens Blur instead of shapes would be AMAZING. I’m rating 4 stars, to possibly grab your attention on a few new suggestions to add into the apps editing features. I really love using this app to edit all my photos. Face Pose - correct the pose of portraits based on three dimensional models.Face Enhance – add focus to the eyes, add face-specific lighting, or smoothen skin.Double Exposure - blend two photos, choosing from blend modes that are inspired by shooting on film and by digital image processing. ![]()
